Every fall, some of my family has a tradition of spending time at our hunting shack, hunting whitetail deer and upland birds in Northern MN. The painting “Busted” actually came while we were upland bird hunting. I was tagging along and operating a camera while others were hunting and captured this setting. Its not common in the area to see a lot of deer, let alone an elusive dandy whitetail buck. These bucks are wise and often make the slip before we get to see them.
